Standing in front of a banner reading: “We MADE THEM do it!” Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez proclaimed they’ve mandated doctors to provide cures for all the diseases by the Fall of 2021.
After the rally, members of the press asked Bernie how removing the profit motives from the medical community would accelerate the discovery of cures.
“Because I wrote it down on the bill. I wrote the damn bill,” a frustrated Sanders snapped back.
“Yes, but what if the scientists get discouraged with their 92% salary reduction and fail to deliver all the cures in time—if at all?” a reporter questioned the Senator.
“They will deliver the cures because it’s in the bill! This is not that complicated!” yelled Sanders now enraged.
At this time, AOC gently tapped on Bernie’s shoulder and told him she would handle the press from here.
“LISTEN, YOU PACK OF RATS!” AOC screamed startling everyone.
“BERNIE WROTE THE DAMN BILL AND IF THOSE DOCTORS DON’T FOLLOW THE LAW—WE’LL THROW THEM IN JAIL SO FAST!”
Understandably, the flood of medical innovation will not arrive unless Bernie Sanders defeats Donald Trump in 2020. Reports are the Vermont Senator is happy to hold the lifesaving cures as ransom.
