With news that Kamala Harris dropped out of the race, the six Democratic presidential candidates for the next debate will all be white. Dangerously white.
“If you absolutely must watch the remaining Democratic debates, please protect your retinas and skin,” Doctor Jacob Campbell is sternly warning.
And Dr. Campbell isn’t alone. Apparently, medical professionals are convinced viewers will need to apply a thick coat of sunscreen and wear sunglasses to shield themselves from the piercing glare of brightness.
“Most importantly, definitely do not just flip on the debate. You’ll risk becoming burnt and blind,” Dr. Campbell warned. “First, I suggest an evenly applied coat of SPF 40. Then ease yourself into the whiteness with an episode or two of Friends. Then you should be ready to watch the debate.”
Update: Cory Booker, while still technically in the race, will not be on the debate stage because Democrat voters are not pleased with a certain feature of his. But they don’t want to say what it is.
