Earlier this week Mayor Pete Buttigieg had to again be reminded to stop giggling when he hears the word ‘caucus’.
“We feel we’ve been very clear on this with Mr. Buttigieg,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez told The Glorious American. “But when an audience member’s question contained the word ‘caucus’ and the Mayor interrupted her by laughing and yelling, ‘caucus—I hardly know him!’ we felt it was time for another warning.”
A source that was in the room as Buttigieg was being scolded said the DNC told Pete his giggling was bad enough, but his raunchy jokes were only exacerbating the problem. At that point, the Mayor was weeping with laughter at that phraseology and the officials left in a huff.
Update: Joe Biden has been asked to stop laughing when he hears the name “Buttigieg.”
