Your average journalist would have been discouraged by such a slow news week. But CNN’s Brian Stelter is not your average journalist. As President Trump was all riled up about something to do with ABC and NBC, Stelter was doing some deep investigative work.
“What I discovered on Twitter was pretty extraordinary,” the CNN star explained. “Apparently, as the President was tweeting about something insignificant, he not only added an extra comma but he failed to properly begin a new sentence.”
Stelter, who prides himself on holding the media in-check, noted that for the 210th consecutive week, all news corporations were squeaky clean in their actions and conduct except for Fox News.
“Now, are these typos the biggest deal in the world? Is this the type of thing that keeps your average American up at night?” asked Stelter. “Yes. I think overwhelmingly yes to both.”
