WASHINGTON DC — As the four outspoken liberal congresswomen known as “the squad” grow in popularity, they needed to “add another brilliant mind to the club,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez explained to The Glorious American.
Armed with a trident and hand grenade, San Diego weatherman Brick Tamland, flew to Washington on Wednesday to officially join the group.
“I’ll be honest, Brick has a lot of policy to catch up on,” AOC told members of the press. “But he just seems to fit in. Especially when he screams, ‘I DON’T KNOW WHAT WE’RE YELLING ABOUT!”
Like with most groups of friends, it’s not always smooth sailing. A source close to the squad said tensions ran high when Brick asked Ilhan Omar if she got her hat from the toilet store.
