WASHINGTON, D.C. — Over the weekend, Jen Psaki called an emergency press conference to reluctantly tell the media some unflattering news about Donald Trump.
“You guys are my best friends, so I know I can talk to you,” Psaki began. “Well, we think the former president was too nice towards Russia and that’s why Joe’s struggling with every facet of governing.”
But during her remarks, it became apparent the press secretary had accidentally worn her famous pink, hammer-and-sickle hat.
“What? Why are you guys staring at me like that? I got a boogie?” Psaki nervously asked. “What’s going on? Why is my head so warm?”
The press, constitutionally bound to never make a democrat uncomfortable, refused to explain her slip-up.
“Anyhoo, as I was saying about Donald Trump… can believe you Putin didn’t invade Ukraine because Trump told him not to? A total fan of Russia!” she continued. “I bet if they made Russian jerseys or hats Trump would probably be caught wearing them–am I right, you guys?
Psaki then forced a Hillary-inspired laugh and demanded each media member give her a high-five.
Update: The White House then invited the press to a luncheon where Beef Stroganoff and vodka were served.
