Rachel Maddow has come under fire for suggesting, “there will never be a later” after President Trump implied otherwise.
On Maddow’s Friday show she played a clip of the President saying, “Ok. See you later,” twelve times. Each time she scoffed while informing her audience that ‘the idea of a later is laughable.’
“Ridiculous,” she huffed before closing her show with an awkward, “Thank you for joining us tonight. I’ll see you la—ummm. Well, as I said, there will be no more time or space after…after my show. You mark my words. THIS IS IT!” she screamed as her microphone was cut off.
But Trump has bested Maddow again as multiple sources have confirmed that human existence has continued.
Early Monday morning the President sent a tweet to Maddow with a video of a Philadelphia weatherman saying, “The sun is up and it’s a beautiful morning.”
“SEE! There was a later! Fake News again!” Trump wrote.
