NBA Asks Steph Curry’s Parents To Referee Game 5 Of Finals.

The NBA has asked the parents of Golden State Warriors guard, Steph Curry, to referee game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Should the Warriors lose Monday’s game 5, the Toronto Raptors would clinch the franchise’s first ever NBA championship—something Stephen Curry’s mom said would happen “over her dead body”.

“Hey, our whole thing is, may the best team win,” said father, Dell Curry. “And we’re just thrilled that our baby boy is on the best team. So we’ll see what happens.”

While the Currys have no experience in refereeing basketball on any level, the NBA is thrilled to extend the couple this opportunity and hopefully the series.

“Dell and Sonya Curry have had an amazing influence on our game,” Commissioner Adam Silver told The Glorious American. “We just think it’s time they influence it even more.”
