When it was learned that Disney+ decided to stream the impeachment hearings under the “Fairy Tale” category, many Democrats were understandably outraged.
“I guess Disney thinks us trying to save our DEMOCRACY is a BIG JOKE!” screamed Eric Swalwell while running into The Capitol Building before the media could see him cry.
Adding to the drama, Disney CEO, Robert Iger happened to be in Washington Wednesday and was confronted by Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff.
“Listen, we have an algorithm which sorts the content,” Iger was overheard telling the pair.
“I’m sorry, but the impeachment just sort of had all the characteristics of a fairy tale. You have a whimsical and unrealistic quest. You have the deranged villain in Nancy, who has her plans foiled by the hero at every turn.”
“Stop right there,” Schiff told Iger. “This means I’m the hero, right?”
Iger didn’t have the heart to tell him who the real hero was (Trump). And things got tense when it was explained to Schiff he was the villain’s stupid shoulder monkey designed to give the kids a laugh.
“Do you understand how hurtful your words and actions are?! Look at Nancy!” Schiff demanded of Iger pointing to the Speaker of the House. “LOOK AT HER!”
Iger began to protest that she always looks like that, but instead made a compromise to move the hearings to the comedy section.
