Even the eloquent and mild-mannered Joe Biden has his breaking point. And it was reached early Thursday morning when he heard more horrific news about Florida’s COVID numbers.
“I tell you what, that Governor down there is crazy. Corn Pop wouldn’t even try the stuff he’s doing. Freedom? C’mon, man!” Biden told the press. “I mean, how could Ron DeSantis have 700 more COVID cases we’re dropping off in Florida later tonight? This nation has worked too hard to have 700 additional cases imported to his state at about 11 pm tonight,” he said, looking at his watch.
Because the media stopped using actual camera equipment to cover Biden, the President’s dig at the Florida Governor was heard by almost no one. Meanwhile, in Tallahassee, Ron DeSantis kicked off a press conference being covered by 20,000 reporters. It was being broadcasted in 8k and being aired live on over sixty TV networks.
When the 100-foot banner above DeSantis’ podium which read: “JOE BIDEN: DEMENTED. PERVERTED.” was seen, the President reportedly whispered to his staff, “Well, this can’t be good.”
With a thunderous, booming voice amplified by a 90,000-watt sound system, DeSantis told the massive audience, “If you’ve come to hear a 2-hour PowerPoint presentation on why Joe Biden is a corrupt, perverted, old vegetable, you’ve come to the right place!”
DeSantis’ speech, now known as ‘Bidengeddon,’ was the most brutal take-down of a President until Kalama Harris topped it later that night.
Update: President Trump commented, “Frankly, I thought Ron went a little light on Joe if I’m honest.”
