As hope grows that the coronavirus might not be as deadly as predicted, Dr. Fauci felt he needed to rekindle the fear. So for Monday’s press briefing, the doctor dramatically and slowly strolled to the podium dressed as the grim reaper.
“Finally! Someone’s treating this virus in a mature and responsible way!” Jim Acosta yelled.
“Dr. Fauci, I have a question,” Jonathan Karl said.
“Please—call me Dr. Death,” Fauci replied.
“Ummm, ok. Dr. Death, when do you think Americans’ lives can go back to normal?”
“Lives?” Fauci asked. “What lives?” he laughed while taking a long drag of a cigarette.
At that time, Donald Trump appeared and tapped the doctor on the shoulder and said, “Ok. That’s enough, Fouci. Take a seat. Don’t know what it is about death and bloodshed, but it’s always made me sad,” Trump explained. “I’ve always been like that. I’m automatically saddened by the thought of death.”
Trump then instructed Dr. Fauci to find Joe Biden and go harass him in the grim reaper outfit.
