Mike Pence: 'Life Begins At Holding Hands'

On Wednesday, Vice President, Mike Pence, offered his opinion on the age-old question: “When does life begin?”

“That’s easy,” Pence said to a reporter. “The moment that young man reaches for his gal’s hand, as soon as they hold, that’s when life begins” he informed.

The press was taken aback and the VP was asked to clarify.

“Listen, I know it may not be what today’s science books are teaching, but the electricity of a good hand holding is clearly when that spark of life begins.”

Members of the media felt the need to correct the Vice President, explaining that life truly begins 10 or 12 hours after birth—unless the mother files for an extension.
