"Now Is Not The Time For Questions,” Jen Psaki Reminds White House Press Corps

A bit of an embarrassing moment for the press occurred today when White House press secretary, Jen Psaki had to remind the media that her press conferences were not the time for questions.

“Jen. Jen! Can you tell us why Biden told Americans, and I quote, ‘I have all the nukes and you don’t. Neener-neener-neener’?” Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked.

“Oh, Peter. Bless your heart,” Psaki said. “Have you forgotten? These press briefings are neither the time nor the place for questions. More importantly, I don’t speak for that crazy old bast—er, I mean, I don’t speak for the President.  He speaks perfectly fine for himself.  Understand?”

Making matter worse for Doocy; all other media members remembered the strict no-questions policy and loudly chided him.

“DOOCY! What are you doing? She doesn’t answer to us!” CNN’s April Ryan snapped before checking to see if the Press Secretary was all right. “Are you ok, Ms. Psaki? I stopped him just before he started an insurrection.”

Once things settled down, the press gathered around Psaki for a dramatic reading of White Fragility.
