The DNC has taken the deeply principled stance that all the presidential debates should be managed by a woman of color. More specifically, Donna Brazile.
“It’s been far too long since a woman of color was involved in these debates,” CNN’s Chris Cuomo said. “Even though Donna ran them in the last election cycle, it’s still been too long. When she was running the debates, she did things no moderator would ever dream of. Such a go-getter!”
Brazile, who fills in on The Five when Juan Williams runs out of ways to defend the left, was excited to reclaim her old gig.
“When I heard that ol’ Joe needs help, I said ‘sweet heavens, honeychild! Momma’s a-coming!’” She eagerly informed while gathering her things from Fox News studios. (Which consisted of one yellow sticky note with “Republicans are racist” written on it.)
Immediately upon reclaiming her rightful place as the debate coordinator, Brazile released the following statement to each campaign:
“Each of the candidates except Donald Trump should have received a special email with important information about the first debates.”
But, as expected in Washington these days, even that statement came with drama. The Trump camp accused Brazile of feeding Joe the questions while Biden demanded to know ‘what an email was’.
